A Casio watch will be making a special appearance in the Kristinia DeBarge music video for her latest single Goodbye

Casio watches are set to enhance their presence among the stars, with up and coming singer Kristinia DeBarge set to don a Baby-G for her latest video.

Both Lady GaGa and Jordin Sparks have worn Baby-G Casio watches in some of their latest videos, with DeBarge keen to follow suit in her Goodbye single.

Casio claims that the Baby-G BG5601 is perfect for an active woman like Kristinia, adding "style and sass" to her already colourful persona.

The new watch comes in a range of shades, including luminous yellow and pink, and is water and shock resistant for up to 100 meters.

It is also capable of telling the time in 48 different cities and has five daily alarms.

Shigenori Itoh, vice-president of Casio's Timepiece division, said: "We are proud to have Kristinia DeBarge representing Baby-G through her music video.

Three new Baby-G Casio watches were launched by the watch brand at the end of May, including a Solar Atomic Baby-G.

"The BG5601 blends femininity and fashion with edge and truly reflects the confidence and class reflected in DeBarge's music and style.
